Since 2001, he has been the head of the Association of Religious Organizations of Kazakhstan (AROK). In his work, he exerts a feasible influence on legislative processes and law enforcement practice in the field of freedom of religion and countering violent extremism and terrorism. He strives to raise a high level of legal culture within the framework of freedom of conscience and contributes to the promotion of international human rights standards. The focus of his activities is the protection of the right to freedom of religion and belief, the development of interfaith dialogue and state-confessional relations.
